There is no feeling quite like putting an end to a long day by crawling under the cool sheets of your bed and closing your eyes against the labors of the world. For many, the hours in bed can be the only time they are truly able to be alone and at peace with themselves. Of course, there can be few things as frustrating as having that peaceful sleep time interfered with. Sometimes, you may have no idea why your sleep is not coming and no idea of what to do about it.
You are leery of prescription and over the counter sleep aids because of their side effects, which many times can be drastic and unpleasant. All you want is a return to a normal sleep schedule and to wake up in the morning refreshed and ready to go. In the efforts of achieving this return to normalcy, you may wish to give thought to chamomile tea. It is purely natural and studies have shown it can be a tremendous aid to those missing their sleep.

Commodity Online writes:
Fears of ‘Darjeeling Tea’ losing its charm have been growing for quite sometime now. Another factor added to the worries of ‘Darjeeling Tea’ producers was the plantations’ heavy dependence on fertilisers and pesticides that were being hawked by foreign corporations.
The Champagne of Teas has always been one of our favorites. Wikipedia says:
Darjeeling tea, tea from the Darjeeling region in West Bengal, India, has traditionally been prized above all other black teas, especially in the United Kingdom and the countries comprising the former British Empire. When properly brewed it yields a thin-bodied, light-colored liquor with a floral aroma. The flavor also displays a tinge of astringent tannic characteristics, and a musky spiciness often referred to by tea connoisseurs as “muscatel.” A sweet cooling aftertaste should be felt on the mouth.

Okay, usually you don’t hear about our government officials doing something positive, but I recently came across an online store that sells organic teas called Ambassador Organics. This company was founded by Ambassador Carol Moseley Braun, a former senator from Illinois and Ambassador to New Zealand.
According to the website, she became interested in agriculture while spending summers on her great-grandmother’s pecan farm. From this experience, she learned how to farm while keeping close harmony with the environment. This practice is called Biodynamic agriculture.
While in Congress, she championed renewable fuels, improved food safety, health and nutrition. In fact, her entire professional life has been devoted to legal issues concerning environmental and social justice.
Since becoming a private citizen again, she has continued her public service work with founding Good Food Organics™, which Ambassador Organics is a part. This company is a premium, Certified USDA Organic and Biodynamic products company. If you are serious about helping the environment and enjoying some wonderful tea, stop by Ambassador Organics today.

Most of us don’t realize that this tea is often grown on tea plantations in the developing world where the crops are sprayed with many chemicals and pesticides and the workers that pick the leaves are not only exposed to this danger but are often paid a pittance of a wage as well.
Organic and Fairtrade tea, coffee and cocoa are growing in popularity as people realize the benefits of spending those extra pennies per box and the payback in both health and human terms.
